Power and violence are opposites.
Violence appears where power is in jeopardy, but left to its own course it ends in power’s disappearance.
Violence can destroy power; it is utterly incapable of creating it.
-Hannah Arendt, On Violence, 1970

This body of work addresses the gun violence epidemic in the US.

Exhibited in Gallery 204 at Vanderbilt University in November of 2023, this project received The Current Art Fund Award by Tri-Star Arts and the Andy Warhol Foundation.
